District 9 is here to serve little people, their families, and their friends who live in the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
District 9 has hosted 5 National LPA Conferences: St. Paul, Minnesota (1981), Minneapolis, Minnesota (1969 and 2000), and Des Moines, Iowa (1963 and 1988)
On this website, we have provided news about our district, and information about upcoming regional/chapter meetings, medical facilities and doctors available in our region, and pictures of past events.
Newsletter Update!!!
The District's newsletter is going to be placed on D9's web site starting with this issue. It cost us $700 to print and mail two issues.
How will this effect you? This will be the final hard copy of the newsletter going to each member and if you want a hard copy you need to call Kathy to let her know. We are going to make a list of people that can not reseve the newsletter through the internet because they do not have a computer. Their newsletters will be mailed to them. The others will get a notice from D9's chat line. If you are not on the chat line let us know.
What is required of me? You will need to email or call Kathy D'Avia to let her know that you do not have a computer and want a paper copy of the newsletter. Her phone number is 952-941-6610; email address: kkdavia@msn.com.
