LPA District 9

It is time to elect new officers to serve on the Twin Cities Chapter Board.  All positions – president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer – are up for election.  All positions are two year posts.  To remain an official LPA chapter, we need to elect people into at least the president and treasurer roles.

Justin Eckblad, the current treasurer, is interested in running for the treasurer position (or any other position that is needed).  Heather Lee is open to filling a role but would really prefer to have someone else step into the president position (or at least someone to act as co-president).  Can you help fill a roll?  Contact Heather (hmlee@umn.edu; 612-788-8741) and she can tell you more about the different positions and what the duties would entail.

Bios of all candidates will be sent out via the D9 listserv July 14, in preparation for the elections at the chapter picnic on July 17 (see above).  If you haven’t been involved in the past or it has been awhile since you last served, please consider running!
